First Community Land Trust of Chicago is a non-profit organization that was incorporated under the laws of the State of Illinois in 2003. Our mission is to create and preserve affordable housing in Chicago's communities. We work towards this by acquiring land and developing affordable housing for lower-income families. Our team is made up of passionate individuals who believe in the power of community and the importance of providing a safe and stable housing environment for all. We believe that everyone deserves a place to call home and we strive to make that a reality for as many families as possible.
